E-cigarette use among 14 and 15 year olds: Results from the 2016 Youth Insights Survey

Electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes, vaporisers) are electronic devices that release a vapour through the heating of e-liquid (or e-juice) as people inhale from them. They do not contain tobacco, but can contain nicotine and flavourings. Participants in the 2016 Youth Insights Survey (YIS) were asked how often they used e-cigarettes now. Results are presented by sex and ethnicity.
