We can also do telehealth appointments.
Services we provide
The diabetes service provides:
- assessment
- treatment, education and management plans
- medication prescription and review
- diet education and review
- foot assessments and wound management
- referrals for specialist treatment when required
- education for whānau and organisations in the community.
Eye screening for people with diabetes is provided by OPSM Gisborne on referral from your healthcare provider, doctor or midwife.

Referrals can be made by healthcare providers including general practitioners, nurses and inpatient referrals.
